Design that promotes healing and celebrates seasonal shifts

The revamped Tumut Hospital in New South Wales now offers a holistic healthcare service to its regional communities. The project, executed by Richard Crookes Constructions in conjunction with Health Infrastructure NSW, features 26 inpatient beds, a Level 3 Emergency Department and a helipad. Its light, natural interiors surpass the functional needs of a modern healthcare facility, housing all clinical and non-clinical support services under one roof. The project was awarded two honors at the Master Builder Association’s 2023 Southern Regions Excellence in Building Awards.
