Cyber insurers currently lack an industry data aggregator similar to those in traditional insurance sectors, making it more difficult to create informed business strategies, according to Erica Davis and Jess Fung from reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter. Davis and Fung suggest using the CyberExplorer DataLake and CyprusExplorer Gateway, technology which aggregates data, displays it visually and allows tailored filtering, enabling cyber insurers to compare and manage their portfolio in real time.
