The United States National Security Agency (NSA) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have published a list of the most common cybersecurity misconfigurations. Following a security investigation, software company Blackbaud has agreed to pay $49.5 million in claims from a 2020 data breach. The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has issued guidelines for fines under GDPR, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) outlined consumers’ concerns about artificial intelligence. Lastly, the European Data Protection Board launched draft guidelines about law enforcement’s requirement for data transfers.
