Death of man in Renfrew being treated as murder as police look to trace two attackers

A murder investigation has been launched in Renfrew after 52-year-old Alastair Campbell was killed. Two men, both white, are suspected of carrying out an assault leading to his death in the early hours of October 30. A postmortem confirmed that Campbell’s death was being treated as murder. A 35-year-old man was arrested but later released.
