In the past year, North African countries experienced a surge in distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, with Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and Libya being the most affected. This rise in attacks is attributed to growing online presence and geopolitical tensions. As digital footprints expand, African organizations also confront growing cyber-espionage and cybercrime risks, including attacks on critical infrastructure, financially-motivated crimes, and supply chain attacks.
