DDoS Attacks on the Environmental Services Industry Surge by 61,839% in 2023

The environmental services industry has experienced a huge surge in HTTP-based DDoS cyberattacks, marking a 61,839% increase in traffic over the year, according to a report by Cloudflare. The rise in attacks coincided with the COP 28 climate conference and continues a pattern seen during previous conferences. Despite this, the cryptocurrency industry remains the main target of such attacks, while the US and China are the main sources of HTTP DDoS traffic.
