Data from hospital cyber attack ‘could be released before NHS can investigate’

The Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust has warned that hackers could release data from a recent cyber attack on its systems before the organisation can complete its investigation. It was also revealed that a small amount of data from the Royal Liverpool University Hospital was accessed. It is currently unknown how many people have been affected by the breach. The trust is taking steps to secure its systems.
