The West is at risk of war on an unprecedented four fronts in Ukraine, the Middle East, Iran, and North Korea. Ongoing defence decline over the last 30 years has left the UK and its allies poorly prepared for conflict. The solution lies in national unity and a reimagining and rearming of defence capabilities. A war-ready mode must be adopted in anticipation of high-intensity confrontation, and the UK must act swiftly to bolster its defence and security in the national interest.
