CynergisTek, a privacy, security, and health IT audit company, has agreed to be acquired by Clearwater, a cyber compliance and risk management services provider. The merger will result in CynergisTek becoming a privately held subsidiary of Clearwater, and CynergisTek shares will no longer be publicly listed. The two companies will work together to help healthcare organizations manage compliance demands and cybersecurity. The all-cash transaction is valued at $17.7 million, with CynergisTek investors receiving $1.25 per share in cash.
