CynergisTek is partnering with Protenus to provide healthcare systems with better patient privacy monitoring. Protenus’ analytics platform, combined with CynergisTek’s Patient Privacy Monitoring Service, aims to help providers protect against breaches and ensure the security of patient data. The partnership addresses the challenge of knowing where data is, who has access to it, and when. In Q3 of 2018, Protenus data showed that nearly one-quarter of breaches came from insiders, highlighting the need for monitoring programs with analytics technology.
