Cyberattack on 2 New York hospitals forces ambulance diversions

HealthAlliance Hospital and Margaretville Hospital in New York have been hit by a cyberattack, leading to a temporary rerouting of ambulances. The hospitals will shut down their networks for 24 hours on October 20 to restore security. Both are working with the FBI to evaluate the attack, which also affected a related nursing home.
