The proposed measures include creating voluntary cybersecurity goals, securing Congress funding, incorporating cybersecurity goals into new rules and regulations, and enhancing the “one-stop-shop” for healthcare cybersecurity. HHS may update HIPAA regulations to address cybersecurity concerns as early as Spring 2024.
