BlackBerry Limited has revealed a new survey highlighting the extent of software supply chain cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the UK. Over the past year, more than half of UK IT leaders in public sector organizations, including healthcare and education, have been notified of an attack or vulnerability in their software supply chain. It took over 40% of these organizations over a week to recover. The survey indicates a need for greater visibility and more proactive monitoring of the software supply chain environment, beyond relying on trust.
