Raymond Limited, a Mumbai-based textile and apparel conglomerate, confirmed a cyber-attack on its IT infrastructure on 19 February. The company swiftly isolated affected systems and announced that no disruption occurred to its business operations. Raymond is conducting a forensic analysis of the attack and India’s cybersecurity agency has been informed. The company’s response complies with India’s updated cybersecurity regulations requiring prompt reporting of major IT incidents.
