Cybercriminals are using SourceForge, an open-source software platform, to target crypto users with malware. Security experts at Kaspersky have found fake Microsoft Office installers containing hidden malware, including crypto miners and clipboard hijackers, on the platform. According to Kaspersky data, over 4,600 incidents were recorded in Q1 2025, with 90% of the affected users located in Russia.
