CrowdStrike CEO suggests to use AI to curb ransomware spread

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has proposed using artificial intelligence (AI) to fight ransomware attacks, arguing for early identification of novel variants. But he warned that hackers are also using AI, such as DarkAI’s FraudGPT tool. He called for preventative measures in cybersecurity, reflecting concerns raised by Elon Musk and Satya Nadella about the risks of AI misuse.
