A ransomware cyberattack on Synnovis, a provider of pathology services to major hospitals in London, is causing significant disruption to the NHS. The attack has led to service interruptions and cancellations of procedures and operations. Hospitals including King’s College, Guy’s and St Thomas’s have been majorly affected. The company says it is working with the National Cyber Security Centre to fully understand the extent of the attack.
