Corrections NZ invests $5M in EHR and more briefs

The New Zealand Department of Corrections signed a NZ$9m ($5.3m) deal with Intrahealth for a patient management system. Meanwhile, Gold Coast Health in Queensland is testing voice-to-text technology to automate note-taking in clinical documentation. In New South Wales, GPs have access to a business intelligence platform for financial health. Lastly, the Endoscopy and Gastroscopy unit at Western Australia’s Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals is using Personify Care’s digital patient pathways, which have also been implemented at MercyAscot Private Hospitals in New Zealand.
