Comodo introduces free threat analysis for enterprises

Hey there, Bay Area folks! Have you ever thought about how vulnerable our data can be? Nowadays, cyber attacks aren’t just a problem for big tech firms anymore – everyone, including hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare organizations, are at risk too. Here’s the thing – when data breaches happen, they do not only affect our pockets but also our reputation in the long run. Picture confidential details silently slipping into the mysterious realm of the dark web. Quite alarming, right?

Now, here’s where we should pull up our socks. In this technologically advanced age, where we are busily serving our local communities, it’s absolutely crucial that we stay proactive against cybersecurity threats. The need to assess our networks for holes and vulnerabilities is more prominent than ever. So, how do we protect our sensitive information, you ask?

Imagine this – you could analyze your company’s data integrity for free. A kind of “Health Check”, that identifies whether your enterprise’s information has been tarnished or stolen. Now, imagine being able to understand how this data got into the wrong hands in the first place. For instance, it could be due to credentials stolen from direct network access or data breaches from third-party applications. Seeing a clear sample of those leaked records can certainly help set right what went wrong.

Often, our employees can unintentionally become the doorway for hackers. By using the same password for multiple accounts, we’re unintentionally providing a path of less resistance for cybercriminals to creep into high-value accounts. Terrifying isn’t it? But hey, don’t worry, we can take necessary action to prevent this.

You might be wondering why, particularly, big organizations often find themselves as the low-hanging fruit for these cyberattacks. Well, with a greater number of employees, there’s a higher risk of network vulnerability that can be exploited.

Also, the hard truth is that traditional anti-virus software isn’t enough to tackle cyber issues anymore. Anyone remember when you could just install a basic antivirus, and voila, your system was secure? It’s not that simple now. Classic antivirus systems can’t keep up with the speed at which malware is evolving. The sandboxing techniques that were once thought revolutionary, have now turned out to be resource-heavy and often reduce the endpoint performance.

But hey, there’s a silver lining after all! By staying aware of the risks, learning about the ever-evolving nature of cybersecurity threats, and taking measures to counter them, we can strive to protect our organizations. After all, The City by the Bay has always been a hub of innovation and resilience, and together, we can ride this wave too. Isn’t it time we put our Bay Area spirit to work?
