Community Health Center (CHC), Frederick Health and the New York Blood Center Enterprises are the latest victims of cyber attacks compromising patient data. CHC is notifying over a million patients whose data including names, birth dates, health details, social security numbers were stolen by alleged skilled hackers. To counter the attacks, the company has upgraded its security systems and is offering free identity theft protection. It is unclear who is behind the attacks or if there is any connection between them.
