Genetic testing firm Color Health uses OpenAI’s new language model to aid professionals who conduct preliminary work ahead of cancer treatment. The firm has partnered with University of California San Francisco to study the efficacy of a cancer copilot tool in detecting early warning signs within patient records. A trial showed records could be analysed in five minutes and the tool is expected to be used in over 200,000 cases by end of the year.
