A data breach within the US Coast Guard Reserve has seen the private data of 10,700 personnel sent to unapproved recipients. The breach included 7,554 people’s home addresses and 3,146 people’s names and employee IDs. The Coast Guard is now taking steps to ensure similar incidents do not happen in the future.
