The Clop ransomware gang has named 59 organisations it allegedly hacked by exploiting a vulnerability in file transfer tools developed by US software firm Cleo. The Russia-linked group threatened to publish stolen data unless ransoms are paid. German company Covestro has confirmed a breach, while other firms named in the list deny they were compromised. Clop may add more victim organisations to its dark web site on 21 January.
