CHOP makes available its AI model that can enhance tumor analysis

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has developed a deep learning-enhanced biomedical imaging model, CelloType, to accelerate the identification and classification of cells in tissue images. The innovation will advance precise diagnostics and targeted treatments for complex diseases like cancer and chronic kidney disease by gaining a deeper understanding of disease progression at the cellular level. CHOP’s open-source artificial intelligence software is available for noncommercial use.
