Cybersecurity firm Mandiant has warned that a Chinese espionage group, UNC3886, is exploiting routers made by Juniper Networks. The group has previously targeted other network security systems and consistently sought to establish long-term access to systems, using credentials to move undetected within networks. The malware used against Juniper routers shows an in-depth understanding of advanced system internals. Tech firm Mandiant has recommended an upgrade to any organisations using Juniper’s MX routers running outdated software and hardware.

‘ClickFix’ campaign targets hospitality firms with phishing attacks
Cybercriminal group Storm-1865 is deploying social-engineering attacks on hospitality businesses, using a method known as “ClickFix”, where victims receive fake error or system notifications. Following
