Change Healthcare Cyberattack: UnitedHealth’s $3 Billion Aid

Following the cyberattack on Change Healthcare, parent company UnitedHealth Group has now dispersed over $3.3 billion to affected healthcare providers that experienced disruption to their operations. Although remediation efforts are underway, disruptions are expected to continue into April. A temporary funding programme has been established to support struggling providers, with repayments not expected until normal claims processing resumes.
