UnitedHealth Group confirmed that its 2024 data breach affected approximately 190 million individuals, significantly higher than the initial estimate of 100 million. The breach, believed to be the largest-ever in US healthcare, followed a ransomware attack on Change Healthcare. Despite paying $22 million in ransom, UnitedHealth failed to recover the stolen data, which was shared with another cybercriminal group. The data, which may include medical records and personal identification details, has not yet reportedly been misused.
UAC-0063 Expands Cyber Attacks to European Embassies Using Stolen Documents
Advanced persistent threat (APT) group UAC-0063 is using legitimate documents obtained from infiltrated victims to target others with malware dubbed HATVIBE. The group, linked to
