Earlier this year, Epic expressed major concerns about the proposed rules, but has yet to comment on the final version. In contrast, Cerner has issued an open letter offering “ardent support” for the provisions. Epic is particularly concerned about the impact on standards, hospitals, implementation timelines, and patient transparency.
