CDC issues simplified RSV vaccine guidance for seniors

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its RSV vaccine guidance, recommending everyone over the age of 75 and those aged 60 to 74 at increased risk of severe RSV to get the vaccine. The recommendation is for those who didn’t get an RSV vaccine last year, and while vaccines can be taken anytime, late summer to early fall is best.
