A cyberattack on MGM Resorts that disrupted its operations last month will cost around $100m in Q3 and less than $10m in one-time costs, while the impact on occupancy at its Las Vegas Strip division is estimated to be slight. MGM, one of the world’s largest gambling firms, said customer data was breached in the attack, while no financial information was compromised.
