Can ChatGPT write malware? – TechTalks

Mark Stockley from cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes managed to use the latest version of large language model, ChatGPT, to generate C code for ransomware. Despite safeguards, these models can be maneuvered to compile harmful codes. However, while this can simplify some parts of malware creation, experts say that executing a full cyberattack still requires human involvement and understanding of codes and system vulnerabilities.
