California Connects, a federally funded program, has been launched to increase broadband access in underserved communities in California. The program aims to reach over 61,000 people throughout the state and provide online tools and training to enhance their quality of life. The program also involves training students to teach others in their communities how to navigate the internet for tasks such as securing employment and accessing healthcare resources.
