Bumblebee and Latrodectus Malware Return with Sophisticated Phishing Strategies

Two malware families, Bumblebee and Latrodectus, are re-emerging after sustaining setbacks from a law enforcement operation known as Endgame. Leveraging malspam campaigns, the malware is used to steal personal data, along with downloading and executing further payloads onto compromised hosts. The Bumblebee loader employs a ZIP archive file likely downloaded via phishing emails as its delivery mechanism.
