BT Health report highlights NHS cyber security concerns

Two surveys by BT Health indicate growing concerns about cybersecurity within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Only 36% of NHS staff have confidence in existing cyber defence measures. Around 60% of the public fear potential cyber attacks on the NHS would disrupt vital services. Difficulty accessing patient data due to outdated systems and a lack of regular cybersecurity training are perceived weaknesses, recognised by 55% of the public who see staff training as a path to improved healthcare delivery.
