Pathology services provider Synnovis was targeted by a ransomware attack, linked to Russian cyber gang Qilin, which has resulted in over 10,000 NHS appointments being cancelled. The company is investigating the breach, while the High Court has ordered the hackers to reveal their identities and return or delete stolen data. Only urgent or priority patients can currently have blood tests.
