British LAPSUS$ Teen Members Sentenced for High-Profile Attacks

Two teenagers from the UK, members of the LAPSUS$ cybercrime gang, have been sentenced for their involvement in a series of high-profile cyberattacks against multiple companies. Arion Kurtaj from Oxford, who suffers from autism, was given an indefinite hospital order, while the 17-year-old minor received an 18-month Youth Rehabilitation Order. The offenses included fraud, Computer Misuse Act offenses, and blackmail. The attacks targeted various companies including BT, Microsoft, and Uber.
