A “major incident” has been declared by the NHS Trust responsible for a group of hospitals in northwest England due to a cyberattack. The online records of the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust have been temporarily inaccessible and outpatient appointments cancelled in the meantime.
