BreachForums, an online bazaar for stolen data, seized by FBI

BreachForums, a website that sold stolen data and malware, has been seized by the FBI and international law enforcement partners. The site was often used by criminals to trade in compromised data, such as passwords and sensitive customer records. It is currently under investigation, with the FBI analysing back-end data that could be used to prosecute users. The taking down of BreachForums follows a similar action against another platform, RaidForums, in 2022.
