Tollefson, who finds commonalities between lifestyle medicine and Blue Zones, looks forward to the introduction of “Blue Zone certification” for clinicians. This will allow physicians to integrate the benefits of Blue Zones into their practice, helping patients adopt sustainable lifestyle changes to prevent, treat, and reverse diseases.
