Blockchain tech firms launch clinical and mobile reader products at HIMSS18

TrustedHealth, a blockchain-based platform for physicians and patients, has announced the launch of its token sale. The company aims to digitise and decentralise the healthcare process by connecting patients with specialists and gathering data for further research. ShoCard and RF IDeas have also introduced a blockchain ID system at HIMSS18. ShoBadge uses blockchain technology to securely exchange information and meet healthcare security compliance guidelines. No personally identifiable information is stored on the blockchain, only digital signatures of data hashes. It aims to simplify the authentication process and increase security for healthcare providers.
