Blockchain technology specialist Bitfury Group and Longenesis are partnering with Medical Diagnostics Web to bring blockchain to the radiology marketplace. The updated infrastructure includes data anonymization, advanced encryption, and user permissioning, built on Bitfury’s Exonum private blockchain framework. Longenesis will provide data management practices to ensure medical data is accessible only by authorized parties. The platform aims to solve medical imaging problems and enables radiologists to connect with all players in the diagnostic digital imaging ecosystem. The use of blockchain can improve care quality, efficiency, and interoperability in healthcare.
