Artificial intelligence chatbot Microsoft Bing Chat has been found to send users to malware websites. Researchers at antivirus firm Malwarebytes discovered the app was displaying malware ads that divert users to dangerous internet sites. Microsoft uses Bing’s Chat to find information and insert ads into displayed links, replicating Google’s method of placing ads above search results. The team also detailed how infiltrators can purchase ad space to promote fake sites.
