Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) revealed a cyberattack and data breach from its IT vendor. The attack, claimed by BianLian hackers, occurred on September 6, 2024, and accessed files containing employees’ and patients’ personal and medical information. BCHP has offered complimentary credit monitoring services to those affected and assures that its electronic health record (EHR) systems, on a separate network, were not breached.
