Cybersecurity researchers from Kaspersky have warned about malware attackers using malicious websites that mimic official ones to push the TookPS downloader and the Lapmon and TeviRat backdoors. To evade such threats, users are advised against downloading pirated software and organizations are recommended to prohibit software downloads from sketchy sources. The researchers have also released indicators of the malware delivery campaign.
