Management consulting firm, Berkeley Research Group (BRG), has identified a cyberattack, which included ransomware notices. The hacker claims to have stolen and encrypted data from BRG’s systems. The firm has hired Octillo Law and Booz Allen Hamilton’s cyber team to manage the data breach. Consulting firms have been prime targets for hackers for the large volumes of sensitive client data they handle.
