Adarsh Developers has claimed INR150 crore ($20m) in damages after losing six years of critical business data stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Indian real estate company alleges the data was deleted by individuals linked to AWS and Redington Group. The data loss has resulted in estimated daily losses of INR5 crore due to disruptions to business operations and processes. AWS attempted data recovery but has so far been unsuccessful.
