B.C. cyber breach exposed TB tests, insurance data

Hackers gained access to personal information, including medical test results and insurance claims, of patients at the First Nations Health Authority in British Columbia during a cybersecurity breach. The incident affected any First Nations person with a Certificate of Indian Status card who lived or recently lived in B.C. Supports, such as a two-year subscription to a credit monitoring service, will be offered to everyone affected.
