Amazon Web Services (AWS) has committed to provide $7m for pediatric research, creating cloud data resources for related genetic studies in a move to empower caregivers. Additionally, $1m each has been awarded to three hospitals conducting research and treatment trials for pediatric cancer, as well as developing rare disease screening tools. The remaining $2m of the $10m pledge will be set aside to support a consortium of institutions focused on accelerating research.
