Australian & NZ firms hit hard by cybersecurity breaches

Armis research has revealed that 74% of organisations in Australia and New Zealand suffered a data breach in the past year as a result of cyberattacks. Despite using multiple asset management tools and threat intelligence sources, only 57% of network-connected assets are monitored. The research found that only 49-53% of threat intelligence processes are automated, leading to increased manual work and companies feeling overwhelmed by cyber threat information. The lack of oversight of employee-owned devices adds to the security risk.
