AT&T Splits Cybersecurity Services Business, Launches LevelBlue

AT&T has completed the divestment of its cybersecurity services sector, creating a joint venture named LevelBlue with over 1,000 employees in ten countries. The new venture will mainly focus on managed cybersecurity services. This move comes as AT&T struggles to settle its debt, currently standing at $143 billion. The cybersecurity services market benefits from the high costs of cybersecurity talent which reduce companies’ abilities to build their own security teams.
